Shreya Vellala

Shreya is a junior studying Integrative Biology. She joined the HFA Lab in the Summer of 2021. Shreya plans to go to PA school after graduation and eventually specialize in dermatology. Her research interests include improving patient experience and applying knowledge from the lab to her everyday interactions in the world.

Michael Varzino

Michael is a senior studying Kinesiology. He joined the HFA Lab in Fall of 2022. After graduation, Michael plans on continuing his education with a Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Michael’s research interests include exercise as medicine, health technology interventions, and successful aging in older adults.

Erika Steinman

Erika is a freshman pursuing her degree in Kinesiology. She joined the HFA Lab in Fall of 2022. After graduation, she plans to pursue a Master’s in Kinesiology. Erika’s research interests include health behavior change interventions, personal development through physical activity and health, and human robot interaction.

Katherine Kodelis

Katherine is a junior studying Interdisciplinary Health Sciences with a concentration in Health Behavior Change. Katherine joined the HFA Lab in Fall of 2022. After graduation, she plans to attend law school in hopes of becoming a medical malpractice attorney. Katherine’s research interests include developing assistive technology that is effortless and accessible for older adults.
