Lizandra Vergara

Dr. Vergara is a visiting scholar in the Human Factors & Aging Laboratory at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is Architect and Urbanist and Associate Professor of the Production Engineering Department of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil. Supervisor of the Ergonomics Laboratory (LABERGO) of the Technological Center, Specialist in Occupational Safety Engineering and Leader of the research group GMETTA – Multidisciplinary Group of Work Ergonomics and Applied Technologies. Ergonomist Researcher certified by the Brazilian Association of Ergonomics (ABERGO), Dr. Vergara has experience and research in the following subjects: Ergonomics,Occupational Health and Safety, Lean-Ergonomics, Accessibility, Assistive Technologies and Healthy Aging.
