Gianna Kohl

Postdoctoral Research Associate


Gianna Kohl works on CREATE Project 2 and the TechSAge “R1 Needs Assessment & Technology Use” project. She has previously explored how people with dementia share their diagnosis with social networks and developed a web-based intervention to support those hesitant to disclose. Her research interests include stigma and illness experiences, dementia, supporting individuals with impairments through technology, the development and testing of (digital) psychosocial interventions, and user-centered design.
