Gizel Fahimi is a junior studying Kinesiology on the pre-medical track. She will graduate in May 2027 and plans to take a gap year to expand her clinical and research experience in preparation for medical school. Her research interests include health equity, culturally responsive healthcare, and the relationship between physical activity, chronic disease prevention, and access to care in underserved communities.
