Innovative Showerhead Usability Study for Adults Aging with Mobility Limitations

Researchers from the Health and Kinesiology Department at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign are recruiting adults aged 50+ for a 2-hours in-person usability study to better understand showering needs of adults aging with mobility limitations and seeking feedback on an innovative showerhead design. Please submit the recruitment survey form (link below) if you meet the following inclusion criteria.

Inclusion Criteria for Participants:

  • Age 50 years or older
  • Identify as individuals who prefer to shower in a seated position due to mobility or balance concerns
  • Do NOT have upper extremity pain or diagnosis of cognitive impairment (e.g., MCI, Alzheimer’s)

Compensation: $35 Amazon gift card
