Yuheng (Leo) Wang is a sophomore majoring in Industrial Design. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career that bridges product design with emerging technologies, particularly in the fields of extended reality (XR) and robotics.

Leo’s research interests include inclusive design for individuals with disabilities, wearable technology for urban workers, and robotics for care and safety. He is especially focused on how XR devices and assistive robots can support frontline workers such as delivery riders and firefighters, as well as promote independence and well-being for older adults. His work explores the intersection of human-centered design, real-time data, and socially assistive robotics.
