Prasanna is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology. She works with older adults in our blood pressure study. With a strong academic background in dentistry and practical experience in healthcare, Prasanna is passionate about utilizing her skills and knowledge to improve public health outcomes. After graduation she plans to work as epidemiologist or a health educator. Prasanna’s research interests include the intersection of epidemiology, public health, and dentistry as well as the applications of digital health technologies such as telemedicine, mobile health apps, and wearable devices to improve healthcare access to larger populations.
